Came for the lunch special. SUCH a good deal! Only $11.95 for the veg special and $13.95 for the chicken special, including all the items on the platter! The food was also super flavorful. Lentil soup was so yummy and chicken was seasoned well! I love this place so much

This place has delicious food, wholesome service and great overall vibes!! If you’re looking for a great dining experience look no further. We ordered the habanero chicken, butter chicken, chicken jhol, shrimp curry, chicken byrani and chicken korma. Every single dish was to die for! If you’re in Astoria, add this restaurant to your itinerary

FOOD IS SO SO GOOD! I put it in all caps because you neeeeed to come here. All the dishes are delicious. ESPECIALLY the chicken Saag & the habanero chicken. They also have Nepali beer. This place is a wonderful hidden gem in Astoria.

Absolutely deserves their high overall ratings! This place has such amazing food coupled with good overall affordability. Great spot for a relaxed date or with friends where you just want to have a tasty meal and chat comfortably. The biryani is probably my go to, better than I’ve had anywhere else :)

I’ve been walking by Pranam for quite some time and finally decided to come in - I can’t express how much I’m wishing I visited earlier! I’m blown away by the quality of the food and attentive service. The Momo were incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned and the entrees from varying places in Asia impressed me. Special shout out to the imported beers as well - I got the Nepal Ice beer and am now looking where to source it for myself. Truly a hidden neighborhood staple - I encourage everyone to check this place out. You won’t be disappointed. Promise.

Pranam gets high marks for value and service. The spinach chaat appetizer was well-executed, my preferred appetizer over the pakora, which was slightly oily. The aloo gobi lunch box ($11.95 plus tax) had an excellent daal side but the main dish and the samosa could have used a bit more spice. The naan was excellent. The butter chicken was tangy and rich.

Delicious food! Everything was so tasty and not overwhelming. We got the butter chicken, tellicherry pepper chicken, samosa chaat, and tandoori naan for 2 people and ate every single bite of it! So fast that we forgot to get photos because of how delicious the food was lol. Already planning to go back soon. We didn’t get any this time but the drinks are also reasonably priced. Beer is $6, liquor is $6-8, and cocktails were no more than $14, most of them at $10 per cocktail. Will definitely try the drinks next time. Nepalese isn’t our usual go-to cuisine but this place was on our radar for a while and we finally gave it a try. My only regret is not going sooner- this place is awesome! Service was friendly and attentive and the space is large enough to not be noisy. It was a great, peaceful meal at the restaurant with amazing food. Even if you’re not a usual fan of Nepalese, Indian, or Tibetan food, there’s something for everyone. The tastes aren’t extreme and even for our milder palettes we were so impressed. Definitely recommend giving Pranam a try!
